Six Minutes to Success

After a 6-month stay in Japan when I was a Petty Officer 3rd Class in the U.S. Navy we returned to our home-port in San Diego. I told most of my Division shipmates that it was my intention to return to Japan to live and work. I was laughed at and ridiculed. Few people (including myself) actually knew that abundance or dreams could be manifested through the power of intention.

As the time neared to leave Japan I let my Japanese friends in on the fact that I intended to come back as a civilian. Most nodded and smiled but secretly doubted my plan and probably thought I was just young and foolish. Perhaps their attitude was what led me to pursue my intention to return.

Back home as a civilian I continued to visualize the sights, sounds and even tastes of Yokohama. I saw myself and friends going to all our favorite places and returning to my apartment afterward. So, after a year it came as no surprise when I ended up where I had been living in my mind all this time. I had the apartment of my visions and work, too.
